Tears

Activities

1.  It’s OK to be sad. Sometimes, you just need someone or something to comfort you. Make a list of things that comfort you when you’re sad. Hugs from a loved one? A favorite blanket or stuffed animal? A favorite song?

2.  Yoga can help reduce stress and create a sense of well being.  With an adult’s permission, check out these yoga poses for kids.

3.  Start a journal. According to experts, it can be very helpful to write down your worries/or things that make you upset — rather than just keeping them inside.

Crying is a big part of being human.  But do you know HOW or WHY you CRY?  Did you know you cry different kinds of tears for different reasons?  And why do tears taste so salty?
